Where can I fix my garage door remote control?
my garage door remote control is not working even after I changed battery. The garage door opener set is out of warranty. Where can I get it fixed?
If the opener is so old that it has the “switches” then it need replaced. More than most likely the opener just need re programed to the remote. If you want to try and fix it your self, on the back of the opener should be a button ” it will be hard to see some of them even have a light with the button” reach up and hold the button down for a bout three second maybe five depending on the brand, you should here the opener “click” and the light might flash on and off. Then just hit the button one your remote, opener will click again confirming the program.
